Protecting Water Resources
The Susquehanna River Basin Commission (SRBC) was created in 1971 by a compact among the states of New York, Pennsylvania, and Maryland, and the Federal government. For its 50th Anniversary, SRBC wanted to release a new Comprehensive Plan (CP) to govern water quantity and quality, flooding and drought, and watershed management activities in the Basin. We helped SRBC develop an integrated, cooperative plan for the next 20 years to support the Basin's many uses and protect communities from extreme events.
